Busy Week for Schwartz

The Memorial Day holiday last week may have slowed down the recruiting process, but for Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater fullback Jeremiah Schwartz. He received a new offer from a Big 12 school and had lots of contact with other schools. He updates FightinGators.com in his recruiting diary.

Jeremiah Schwartz received another offer from Iowa State on May 31, 2007 from Coach Scott Fountain.

On Wednesday, May 30, Jeremiah had lots of text messages from Coach Rod Smith of West Virginia, USF Coach Mike Simmonds and University of Florida Coach Charlie Strong.

Mother spoke with Coach Mike Simmonds and confirmed the high interest in Jeremiah and they are planning on scheduling a visit sometime in mid-July (July 18-28).

Mother spoke with Coach Charlie Strong at UF and Jeremiah will be attending one-day of Camp at UF on Monday, June 11. Coach Strong and Jeremiah are excited about this one-day work out.

On Thursday, May 31, Coach Ricky Rahne called from Kansas State, and they have a high interest in Jeremiah as well, and they are looking forward to an offer from Kansas State.

On Friday, May 1, Coach David Serna from Florida Atlantic University was excited to view Jeremiah's highlight tape and sent an email confirming their interest in Jeremiah and their current needs for a FB and TB.
