"It was a great visit," Scott said. "I liked everything about it from the players to the coaching staff, everything. I liked everything about it. I met the Pouncey twins. They have a great time at Florida."
The weekend visit had a big impact on Scott.
"It definitely puts Florida at the top of my list," he said. "The staff said that I have a home in Gainesville."
Scott had a chance to take in The Swamp.
"I loved everything about The Swamp," he said. "I loved it. The campus and everything was great. I had a chance to look at the weight room. They are building a whole bunch of new stuff, but its going to be awesome."
"My offensive coordinator and I left Alabama Thursday night and we were in Gainesville all day Friday and most of Saturday," Scott said. "Friday morning we went straight to the camp because Coach Lev Holly was working the camp - my offensive coordinator. It was great. I had a chance to meet all the Florida coaches. I feel like they have a great staff. They have been together for a while so that tells me that Coach [Urban] Meyer is true to everyone and they want to stay and work for him and Florida."
Scott put up good numbers as a junior and looks forward to an even bigger senior season. As a junior, Scott rushed for 1,070 yards and 11 touchdowns and also threw for more than 1,000 yards with eight touchdown passes. He also pulled in 12 catches for 353 yards with one touchdown.
"The schools are not all equal," he said. "It's Florida and then Alabama."
