Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators landed their second commitment from the class of 2008 on Saturday. Auburn (Ala.) safety Dee Finley verbally committed to the Gators during a visit to Gainesville.
texted FightinGators.com's Jason Higdon late Saturday night confirming the news. Finley is a 6-3, 205-pound prospect that can play either free safety or strong safety for the Gators.
As a junior at Auburn High School, Finley posted 50 solo tackles, eight interceptions and 15 broken up passes. He also added a punt return for a touchdown.
On offense, he had seven catches for 100 yards and two more touchdowns.
Finley received all-state honors during his junior season.
