Schwartz Still Reeling from UF Visit

After a full-day workout for the Florida coaching staff, Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater fullback Jeremiah Schwartz had a rarely quiet week.

Even though it's been more than a week since Jeremiah Schwartz visited Florida, he and his family are still raving about the attention they received during the visit.

"While we were at Florida, the staff was GREAT. They escorted us all around the campus, they never left us alone, they were attentive, friendly and honest."

"We arrived campus at 7:30 a.m. to register for camp and met with Coach [Charlie] Strong and Coach [Stan] Drayton."

Schwartz then worked out for more than two hours before meeting Coach Drayton back on the practice field for some more drills with the sled machine. They then met in the meeting room to go over some plays before returning to camp and more drills at The Swamp.

Schwartz said it was a busy day, not just for him, but also for Coach Drayton whose wife gave birth to their second child – a baby girl the very next day.

Although the week was slow after the trip to Gainesville, Schwartz did receive some attention from some new schools. N.C. State and Ohio State all contacted him, showing new interest.

The letters also continue to flow for the 5-11, 239-pound fullback. He received correspondence from West Virginia, Connecticut, Northwestern, Virginia, Colorado and Iowa State among others.
