WR Takes First Official Visit

[MEDIA:32874]Amp Hill took his first official visit this past weekend. Right now, the super receiver from Jacksonville has two more official visits lined up.

Anthony "Amp" Hill is one of the top wide receivers in the nation. Hill, from Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast High School, took an official visit to LSU this past weekend. The Tigers were had a bye week and Hill was the only visitor in Baton Rouge.

"I just got back," said Hill last night. "I really liked LSU a lot. The coaches are great and so are the surroundings. Michael Clayton was my host and we just kind of hung out. LSU did show me a lot of love. Right now, LSU, Florida and Florida State are my leaders. I also like Tennessee and Southern Cal."

Hill has also scheduled official visits to Florida (12-13) and Florida State (1-10).

Hill and Clayton watched the Florida/ Tennessee battle while on his visit.

"That was a shocker," said Hill. "I thought it was going to be a closer game than it was. (Rex) Grossman was incredible. To throw the ball like that is that kind of rain is so hard to do. He was just awesome. Like I said, I was kind of shocked like the Miami game. I never would have expected Miami to beat Florida the way they did."
