Orlando (Fla.) Boone star Jeremy Brown is one of the top defensive backs in the Central Florida area. Common wisdom tells us that he is torn between Florida and Notre Dame, and while that may be true, three more have entered the picture. To find out who, check out this weeks Recruiting Diary.
It has also been rumored that Jeremy Brown
has pulled the trigger to the Florida
Gators, when I asked Terrell Brown about it, this is how he responded.
"Jeremy has not pulled the trigger," Brown said. "You will be the first to know whenever he decides between Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn, Georgia or Wisconsin."
The recruiting process has taken its toll on the Brown family. To expedite the recruiting process Brown will try to make the five following unofficial visits over the summer.
Possible Unofficial Summer Visits:
Florida - Coach Charlie Strong
Notre Dame - Coach Corwin Brown
Florida - Coach Chuck Heater
Virginia Tech - Coach Torrian Gray
UCF - Coach Davis Kelly
Georgia - Coach David Johnson
Brown has been playing in a passing league for the last month.
Brown will be on vacation and on the road for the next 2-3 weeks visiting grandparents and possible unofficial visits. He will take a break on the diary and start back up August 1. (Unless something MAJOR happens).
My Take: Even though Brown lists Georgia, Wisconsin and Auburn, I firmly believe that this comes down to a Florida/Notre Dame battle to the end. He is very excited about heading to South Bend at the end of the month. We will have a better read on the situation after that trip. I keep saying it, and I will say it again, home is where the heart is.
