"The recruiting process is truly a unique, complicated, stressful and exciting all at the same time," Anabel Schwartz said. "The process of receiving correspondence, text messages and emails, evaluating the true interest level of a school and determining if that school is the right fit for the position you play. Overall, it is an honor to have the interest of schools, but we just hope that every coach sees the possibility and potential that Jeremiah has. His commitments to the game, his passion for the game and of course his love for the game."
Schwartz has updated his highlight film, adding some highlights from his spring game against Lake Gibson.
Last week, Schwartz was contacted via text by the following coaches:
Coach Stan Drayton (Florida) "Coach is looking forward to seeing Jeremiah again and seeing what he can do in The Swamp. Jeremiah will be arriving early Friday morning and staying the night in Gainesville."
Coach Dave Serna (Florida Atlantic University) "Coach was just checking in with Jeremiah to see what he has been doing during his summer break."
Coach Chizik (Iowa) "Coach really wanted Jeremiah to come to Iowa for a camp on July 28; Jeremiah had a long discussion with coach and likes what Iowa has to offer. We researched airline prices, which were surprisingly reasonable, but it conflicts with the camp that he has already committed to attended at the University of South Florida. Jeremiah was disappointed and really wanted to go to Iowa, but we definitely will be making the trip and meeting with Coach Chizik face to face really soon."
Coach Fountain (Iowa State) "He sent texts on a couple of occasions to see how Jeremiah is doing and to check in with him."
Coach Brown (Colorado) "Coach was just following up with Jeremiah. Jeremiah really wants to visit Colorado and visit the campus and of course the facilities."
In the next few weeks, Schwartz would like to begin setting up official visits and start the final decision making process.
