Note: Jeremy has been interested in North Carolina from the beginning of the recruiting process. Jeremy was born at Duke University and has spent a lot of time in the North Carolina area over the years visiting his grandparents (Fayetteville N.C.) and training (Fort Bragg N.C.).
"Before vacationing, Charles Fishbine (MSL Sports) talked with me and put me in contact with Coach John Blake (North Carolina Associate Head Coach, Recruiting Coord./Defensive Line)," Terrell Brown said. "The timing was perfect."

"We were guided to the coach's meeting where we had the opportunity to shake every hand in the room," Brown's father added. "Jeremy, Jasmine and I ended up in front of the meeting room answering questions and doing what we do. That experience was powerful, which left Jeremy and I in awe."

"Those guys are making some things happen in Chapel Hill," Brown said. "It was exciting to see what is happening on and around the campus. Coach Davis will take North Carolina to another level in every area possible. You can tell he pays attention to every detail. An awesome experience."
"Jeremy and Jasmine were very impressed. There was a special and certain kind of excitement in the air. You can tell that something awesome is getting ready to happen in Chapel Hill, N.C."
My Take: Jeremy Brown and father Terrell Brown are going above and beyond in terms of the amount of research that they are doing. For a long time, it has been a Florida and Notre Dame battle. Now, North Carolina has come in and put the full court press on Brown and it looks like he will return the favor with a return trip for an official visit. I have had the impression after each phone conversation that home is where the heart is. The problem is the Brown family considers both Florida and North Carolina home. At this point, I still give the edge to Florida followed by Notre Dame with North Carolina closing the gap immensely.
