Something to Prove at FNL

Jeremiah Schwartz has been waiting for this opportunity for an entire year. Long time friends with Lorenzo Edwards, Edwards spoke often of the events surrounding Friday Night Lights. Find out what takes place under the lights of The Swamp from Jeremiah Schwartz and mother Anabel.

Anabel Schwartz provided the following information to FightinGators.com:

Friday Night Lights is something Jeremiah has been looking forward to since Lorenzo Edwards attended last year. It is an opportunity to display your talent, skills and passion, along with other prospects nationwide. No one in Florida can wait for the event. It is like the Spring Game, a big-break to display your talents and strengths for the upcoming year.

The invitation indicates that the camp will consist of on-field instruction, a camp T-shirt, one-on-one drills, pass rush, seven-on-seven and strength presentation and instruction. Check-in starts at 5:30 p.m. and that is just the beginning, the event will run until 10:00 p.m. Running drills with other prospects while the GATOR coaching staff observes with music blasting under the bright lights of The SWAMP is going to be an event to remember!

Jeremiah received several text messages from Iowa State Coach Chizik, Coach Fountain, Coach Boulware and the strength and condition Coach Becton. They seem to be a close niche group of coaches that really interact with their players. Jeremiah will be scheduling his official visit, now that he has received his official offer letter.

Jeremiah will be heading to Tampa, on July 28 for a camp at USF and is looking forward to meeting Coach Simmonds in person along with Coach Leavitt.

Coach Serna from Florida Atlantic University continues to write personal notes to Jeremiah and is interested in what Jeremiah has been doing all summer.

Coach Petri from University of Kentucky also sent a couple of personal notes letting Jeremiah know that he will be on vacation and will be in touch with him in a couple of weeks.

Thanks again to Jeremiah's mother for providing an extra insight to his recruiting process.
