College Football on Sun Sports & FSN Florida

Beginning Monday, August 20, with the first 2007 edition of Sun Sports' "Tailgate Overtime Presented by AT&T" Florida's two regional sports networks will once again combine to offer passionate fans of Florida's college football teams multiple opportunities to get the inside story on their favorite teams.

Providing more in-depth coverage of college football in Florida than any other television outlet in the state, Sun Sports and FSN Florida are kicking off a wide-ranging lineup of games, studio shows, on-site pre- and post-game coverage, coaches shows, specials and more.

Sun Sports' popular "CHEVY TAILGATE WEEKEND" returns on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays with its four signature shows:

  • Rec Warehouse College Kickoff Fridays, 7pm LIVE Premieres August 31

    Hosted in studio by Whit Watson with Brady Ackerman, Terry Norvelle & Todd Wright and offering live analysis and previews of the upcoming weekend's games

  • Geico Seminole Postgame & Geico Gator Postgame LIVE

    Immediately following the games, extended live postgame analysis and press conferences hosted in studio by Whit Watson, Brady Ackerman, and Terry Norvelle, with insider reports from announcers Paul Kennedy, Keith Jones and Tom Block (FSU) and David Steele, Nat Moore and Todd Lewis (UF)

  • Tailgate Overtime Presented by AT&T Mondays, 7pm LIVE Premieres August 20

    Energetic debate and "Monday evening quarterbacking" by Whit Watson with experts Chris Doering, William Floyd, Steve Walsh, Mike Bianchi and Todd Wright

    NEW INTERACTIVE FEATURE COMING THIS SEASON – At the conclusion of "Tailgate Overtime Presented by AT&T," the hosts/experts will participate in a live, on-line chat on Sun Sports' website, Premiere date TBA.

    Game coverage on Sun Sports features the long-time tradition of next-day replays of all Florida State Seminole and Florida Gator games, produced by the network, with Sun Sports' Paul Kennedy (pxp), Keith Jones (analyst) and Tom Block (sideline) calling the action for Prime Time ‘Noles (Sundays, 7pm) and David Steele (pxp), Nat Moore (analyst) and Steve Babik (sideline) for "Breakfast with the Gators" (Sundays 8:30am).

    Sun Sports will also produce and air hour-long live pre-game coverage before some of the biggest, not-to-be-missed games including Florida State-Clemson; Tennessee-Florida; Florida State-Alabama; Florida-LSU; Miami-Florida State; Florida-Georgia; FSU-Virginia Tech or Florida-USC and Florida State-Florida.

    FSN is gearing up for another exciting season of Big 12 and Pac-10 football, airing 31 games in 2007, with 28 of those delivered in High Definition. The two conferences combined to send 14 teams to bowl games in 2006, and 2007 is shaping up to be an even better year, as consensus pre-season No. 1 USC, UCLA, Texas, California, Oklahoma and Nebraska all have their sights set on the BCS title game.

    Before the games start, get the most up-to-date news, highlights and gridiron insight with FSN's COLLEGE FOOTBALL SATURDAY KICKOFF PRESENTED BY KYOCERA, hosted by Mike Goldberg alongside analyst D'Marco Farr.

    Game action on FSN Florida kicks off Saturday, Sept. 1 with four games back-to-back. The first features a Big 12 match-up between intrastate rivals Colorado State vs. Colorado live at 12noon (in HD). Pac-10 coverage gets underway at 3:30pm with Stanford at home against #17 UCLA, followed by another Big 12 game, North Texas @ #8 Oklahoma at 7pm (in HD). Later, it's #1 USC hosting Idaho at 10:15pm (in HD).
