September Visit Could Decide Hill's Fate

When Will Hill visits Gainesville in September, the Gators will be looking to convince his mom that Florida is the place for him. The top safety prospect in the nation had a solid visit in July and could make a decision in September.

Will Hill is one of the most electric high school football players in the country. On the football field, the sky is the limit for the 6-3, 195-pound multi-talented athlete from Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peters Preparatory High School.

Hill was named the offensive player of the year in New Jersey, a year in which he totaled more than 1,700 yards from the running back, quarterback and wide receiver positions. Defensively is where he projects to have the biggest impact at the next level, specifically at the safety spot.

Hill totaled 68 tackles and three interceptions from his free safety position. He has tremendous balance and vision and has the ability to cut on a dime. From his safety spot, he attacks the ball carrier full speed and very rarely misses his target. He is the closest thing to Reggie Nelson in the last five years at the high school level.

Hill had a tremendous time at Friday Night Lights with a couple people in particular - Coach Urban Meyer, Jamie Harper and Reggie Nelson. Look for Will Hill to end the speculation when he comes in for his official visit to watch as Florida hosts Tennessee.

It is entirely a family decision, and as long as Grace Hill sees what she wants to see, Hill will dawn the Orange and Blue.
