  • Florida head football coach Ron Zook has selected senior running back Earnest Graham, senior defensive tackle Bryan Savelio, junior strong safety Guss Scott and freshman quarterback/punter Ingle Martin as his captains for this weekend's LSU game.
  • ESPN has announced that it will nationally televise the Gators game Saturday, Oct. 19 as Florida hosts SEC rival Auburn at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field. Kickoff has been set for 6:45 p.m. ET.
  • The Gators lead the all-time series 26-19-3 including wins in 13 of the last 14 meetings. The Gators have won seven straight over the Tigers at Florida Field.
  • The Tigers have not allowed a touchdown in the last six quarters and have allowed only one in the last eight.  LSU has not given up a passing touchdown in the last 10 quarters and has only allowed one in 20 quarters of play this year.
  • FACT: To this point in the season, the Gators have relied heavily on big plays (20 yards or more) to make up a large portion of its offense.  Through six game, UF has gained 2,589 yards of total offense on 448 total plays.  Of that, 857 yards (33%), have come on the gators 31 longest plays of the season.  In the UAB game, Florida ran 70 total plays for 643 yards of total offense.  In that game, 12 plays account for 464 yards.
