A.J. Jenkins holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Illinois and Maryland. The 6-2 and 172-pound Jenkins with 4.37-speed and 38-inch vertical jump was previously a Georgia Tech commitment.
"After sitting down with my parents we all felt that it was in my best interest to go ahead and decommit from Georgia Tech. I just think that I need to go on some trips and see some other schools. The only team that I had a chance to see in person was the University of Florida."
Jenkins was down to the University of Florida and Georgia Tech when he made his intentions know earlier in the recruiting process.
