Two BIG Visitors This Weekend

The Gators will have at least two prospects in for official visits this weekend and they are both All-Americans - QB Chris Leak and LB Justin Burks. Leak is ranked as the nation's second best quarterback, while Burks is one of the top JUCO linebackers.

Record setting quarterback Chris Leak is a five star quarterback from Charlotte (N.C.)

Independence High School. So far this season, he has thrown for over 2,200 yards and 23 touchdowns passes in seven games. Independence is currently 7-0 and ranked number one in the state.

"I think I have improved in every aspect of the game," said Leak. "The Elite 11 certainly helped. I am reading defenses better and all my fundamentals are better."

Leak has been to several Tennessee games this season. His brothe C.J. started at quarterback against the Dawgs last weekend. He was in Athens for the Georgia/ Tennessee contest. This weekend, he will take his first official visit.

"I will visit Florida this weekend. Tennessee is still my leader. I also like the Gators, Notre Dame, Texas, Florida State and Carolina (UNC)."

Also taking an official visit to Florida is Junior College linebacker Justin Burks. He is a 6-2, 235 pounder from Cerritos Community College in California. Last season, Burks recorded 71 first hits and 3 quarterback sacks. He just may be the best big JUCO linebacker in the country this year. He combines a tremendous pursuit to the football with tremendous speed and quickness.
