Omarius Hines was at The Swamp for Florida's 45-12 win over in-state rival Florida State and loved what he saw.
"I was so excited, I wanted to play yesterday," Hines said.
Hines said the best part of his game are his hands, speed and quickness, and it doesn't matter where he lines up for the Gators.
"All the wide receivers are so interchangeable that we're all going to be able to showcase and do our thing," Hines said.
Hines picked Florida over LSU, Michigan and Oklahoma.
"I have always liked the Gators since I was a little kid," Hines said. "My mom was telling me that I have actually been a fan of Florida since I was eight years old. I decided to go ahead and commit to head coach Urban Meyer. Coach Meyer just told me he was real happy and excited that I was going to be a Gator."
During his junior season, Hines caught 62 passes for 1,262 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also earned first team all-state and all-district honors.
Hines will enroll at UF in June.
