HEISMAN: Who will it be?

NEW YORK -- By 8:50 p.m., we'll all know if Tim Tebow can become the third Gator in school history to take home the Heisman after having a record setting sophomore season.

First, there was Steve Spurrier in 1966. Then it was Spurrier's prodigy - Danny Wuerffel -- in 1996. And now it's the kid that grew up admiring Wuerffel - Tim Tebow - who has a chance to join two of the most famous Gators in school history and cement one of the greatest seasons ever by a college quarterback.

To do so, Tebow will have to beat out Arkansas's Darren McFadden who was last year's runner-up and also did something Tebow couldn't do this year - beat LSU in Baton Rouge.

There's also Chase Daniel who led his Missouri team into the Big 12 Championship Game and was the only Big 12 player to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors three times this season. And there's Hawaii signal caller Colt Brennan who led the undefeated Warriors into a BCS Bowl game for the first time ever.

FightinGators.com will have full coverage from New York City after tonight's ceremony.
