Tebow Special to Air on Sun Sports

The Heisman Trophy is one of the premier individual awards in all of collegiate sports, but Tim Tebow will be the first to tell Gator fans that he couldn't have done it alone.

He's had the unwavering support of many, including his teammates, coaches and family. What's the past year been like for Tebow and the Gators? Find out when Sun Sports premieres its half-hour original production, "UNDER THE LIGHTS: TIM TEBOW," on Sunday, January 27 at 12:30pm.

In UNDER THE LIGHTS®: TIM TEBOW, Sun Sports takes a look at the Gators' star quarterback and those who have helped him reach new heights, exploring what he and everyone around him have experienced during this whirlwind season.

Host Whit Watson begins the show with highlights of Tebow's recent trip to New York to collect his Heisman Trophy. Viewers will hear from his teammates including Drew Miller and Andre Caldwell about it being as much a team award as an individual honor. Included are key moments from this past season that contributed to Tebow's success and helped him solidify the Heisman. The program then takes viewers along for Tebow's journey from Gator fan to Gator greatness as it traces his childhood admiration of Danny Wuerffel and talks with his parents about the importance of family and faith in his upbringing. Viewers will also hear from his Pop Warner coach Dave Hess, and from Craig Howard, his coach at Nease High School, about Tebow's early days at QB. Then UNDER THE LIGHTS® explores Tebow's amazing popularity, from some of the "Tebowisms" offered up by The Gator Nation to an analysis of his on-field demeanor vs. who he is off the field.
