The one to watch in my opinion is Dixie County star Rodney Scott. Scott measures in at 5-10 and 190-pounds and has been timed as low as 4.41.
Scott, who hopes to reach the 200-pound mark for his senior season is fast, explosive and plays the game with great vision. He has the ability to go inside or outside and always goes forward after first contact.
Scott was the only back in the state of Florida to go past the 2,000-yard mark during the regular season. He ended the year with 250 carries for 2,017 yards and 20 touchdowns and added 11 receptions for 151 yards.
The Auburn Tigers are in hot pursuit of Scott and Scott has shown his appreciation by naming Auburn as one of the teams to beat. However, while Scott is showing the Tigers serious interest he has stated that when the Gators offer that they will be his co-leader. Scott, in my opinion, is as impressive on film as any other running back in the state of the Florida.
