Forcier with Florida Offer

The state of California is loaded with top-notch quarterbacks from the Class of 2009 with three of the top 20 quarterbacks coming from the Golden State. The Gators are after some of them, including dual threat quarterback Tate Forcier.

Tate Forcier is a 6-1, 190-pound quarterback from San Diego Scripps Ranch High School. As a junior he rushed for 733 yards on 66 attempts and threw for nearly 2,400 yards with 21 touchdowns against only five interceptions. He led San Diego County by completing 77 percent of his passes.

He has two older brothers who both stayed in the Pac-10, but Forcier it getting interest from a host of schools across the nation. All in all, the No. 2 ranked quarterback from the West and No. 17 ranked quarterback overall has well more than 30 offers.

Florida just offered Forcier and the California QB lists the Gators in his top 20.
