Gators Add Number Four

The Florida Gators picked up their fourth commitment from the class of 2009 on Thursday when Deland (Fla.) High School athlete Mike Gillislee verbally committed during a trip to Gainesville.

Mike Gillislee is a 6-0, 190-pound athlete with 4.4-speed and rushed for more than 1,200 yards during his junior year and more than 900 yards during his sophomore season. Gillislee chose the Gators over Georgia Tech, Michigan, Auburn, Ole Miss, Illinois and Purdue.

Gillislee was just offered by Florida and jumped on the opportunity. He has not received offers from Florida State or Miami but does have an offer from South Florida.

Gillislee is a 3.0 student and will take the SATs for the first time in June. He was recruited as an Athlete and has incredible vision and balance combined with outstanding speed.
