Smith is 5-11, 180-pounds and is from Atlanta (Ga.) Washington High School. Scout.com analyst Scott Kennedy had this to say about the super speedster.
"A weapon on offense, defense, and special teams, Smith is an electrifying athlete with the ball in his hands," Kennedy said. "He has the quickness and size to be a lockdown corner, but playing receiver is not out of the question. He's a dynamite punt returner that should see the ball even if he ends up on defense in college."
Smith has offers from the South's top programs including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and LSU. Right now, I believe the two teams to beat are the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs.
I will go into much more detail on this after signing day, but I don't believe there is anyway that Smith could become a Gator unless something drastically changes moving forward. Remember the only thing in recruiting that is certain is that things change on a daily basis, but right now Florida is not in the mix on this one.
