Inside Access - Kedric Johnson

To say that Kedric Johnson is flying somewhat under the radar is an understatement to say the least. The 6-4, 220-pound defensive end from Palmetto (Fla.) High School is eyeing the Gators.

So much has been made about Dyron Dye and Ryne Giddins, and rightfully so, but if the Gators were to miss on one or both they might turn there attention to Kedric Johnson.

Johnson was trying to make the Gators opener against Hawaii but wasn't sure if he would be able to attend. But if he doesn't, it won't be for lack of trying. Johnson could very easily find himself in this class depending how things shake out with Dye and Giddins.

The question now becomes how long will Johnson wait on the Gators? Currently, Johnson finds himself on the outside looking in. He will definitely be one to watch as the recruiting season progresses.
