Q&A with Carl Moore

Carl Moore has made a couple big plays for the Gators this season, but those are the only plays he's made. With two catches for 41 yards through four games, he's hoping his production increases from this point forward.

Carl Moore profile

Do you know why you haven't been more involved in the offense?

"All I can do is go out there and do everything I'm asked to do. I really can't talk about that at all. Whenever my number is called, I'll be ready to go out and make the play."

Would you like to see yourself playing a bigger role?

"I definitely want to be involved. I know my time will come, but I have to wait my turn and I understand that. We have to do whatever we need to do to win."

Is it frustrating?

"It's not too frustrating right now because I know I have to do what I need to do to get on the field. Whenever they tell me to go, I'll go."

You've been banged up a little, how are you doing?

"It's okay. It's football and there's always going to be injuries. You just have to play through it."

Do you think the coaching staff trusts the receivers after Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy?

"I definitely think they trust us. We show them everyday in practice that we can make the plays that they want us to make. It's just a matter of the plan to win. We just have to go with what they give us."
