Florida On D-Tackle Trio

The Gators are hot after defensive tackles and UFI caught up with three that will likley visit the Gators. In fact, one in leaning their way.

Andre Fluellen is one of the top defensive tackles in Georgia and he finished the season with 91 tackles, 11 sacks, and 6 caused fumbles. Offensively, he is also an outstanding guard prospect that graded out at 89%.

"Right now, I will visit Vanderbilt (12-13), Florida (1-10), and Maryland (1-17). I want to set one up to Alabama and maybe Auburn.

"Right now, Florida is my slight leader. I have always been a Gator fan and the location is great... not too far and not too close. I can get early playing time at Florida because they need defensive tackles. That is huge for them. I also really like Coach Odom there. I want to try and take all four visits but if I see fit to commit somewhere I will."

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis High School teammates Ryan Watson and Carnell Stewart are both interested in the Gators. Watson has now scheduled three official visits, Colorado (12-20), USC (1-10) and Miami (1-24).

"Georgia Tech, Florida, and LSU are fighting it out for the last two visits," said Watson. "Miami and Colorado are actually recruiting me the hardest right now. But I am open."

Watson has been selected to All-American Bowl in San Antonio next month.

Stewart will now visit Colorado (12-20), Florida (1-10) and Miami (1-24). Stewart has 15 sacks on the season.

"I will set up a visit to Southern Cal for sure," said Stewart. "My last visit will go to Oklahoma or LSU. Right now, I am down to those six schools and I am wide open."

Florida is on other defensive tackles but those were three I spoke with last night. UFI will keep you updated on all the latest recruiting information.
