2010 WR has Gators High on the List

Ocala (FL) Trinity Catholic wide receiver Kadron Boone took in the atmosphere of The Swamp on Saturday night and got to spend a little time with the Gator coaching staff. At 6-1, 190-pounds, Boone could end up being one of the top prospects from the class of 2010 and talked about his interest in the Gators.

Talk about your trip to UF this past weekend.

"The crowd was going crazy."

Which coaches did you speak with?

"My conversation went real good with coach Gonzales and coach Meyer."

What was your mind set while you watched the UF wide receivers?

"I really liked how seven different wide receivers were getting rotated in and out."

What are your strengths and how you would impact what the Gators do on offense?

"I think that I would make a good fit because I am a big strong physical player with great hands and can get insane yards after the catch. I'm fast and have great field vision and understand the game very well."

Can you describe the noise level in The Swamp on Saturday night?

"The noise level was crazy. The fans were crazy and you can almost feel the stadium shake."

What are your current stats this season?

"27 catches for 621 yards and eight touchdowns."

What visits do you have planned for the future?

"I'm getting some set up right now after I get my tests out the way."

Sitting in the stands Saturday night, what were you thinking when the Gators ran out of the tunnel?

"It was a real good experience when they ran out because the fans just went nuts. Florida sits real high on the list and they are the only team to offer me right now."
