Time once again for the FighinGators.com top 13 as chosen by the lawless firm of Vettel, Chmielenski, Redman and Cline.
2. Penn State
3. Alabama --- HC: If the Terrence Cody knee injury is severe it could be devastating.
6. Florida ----- LV: The loss to Ole Miss is looking less and less damaging. Gators are good enough to run the table.
8. Oklahoma St
9. Texas Tech
10. Ohio State -----A CC: A big showdown win over Penn State this week could propel the Buckeyes back into title considerations despite their blowout loss to USC.
11. LSU -------- BR: This is not the ultra talented LSU team of the past few years, but if they can sneak past Alabama in a few weeks they could go 11-1.
Dubious Achievement Award -----
BR: Wisconsin --- The Badgers opened up the season destroying Marshall and Akron before beating a decent Fresno State team in a close game. Since then, they have lost four straight in the Big-10 (Conference that can't count). The losses include one to Michigan who only has beaten Wisconsin and Miami of Ohio this season.
HC: Washington State --- 116 yards of total offense. 69 points allowed. Just go ahead and forfeit the remaining games and use practices to prepare for next year.
LV: Wake Forest --- Middle Tennessee, Eastern Michigan (24 each) and Virginia (31) had no trouble scoring on Maryland and you guys can't get a point? It's beginning to look like FSU is the team to beat in the Almost Competitive Conference.
