"Cat" as they like to call him for his quick cuts and instinctive reactions visited Florida this past weekend with his mother and brother.
"We didn't get to Florida until about 3:00 p.m. so right when we got there we checked in and went into the game," Cassius McDowell said. "Oh my God, it was intense and the crowd was so into the game I couldn't hear myself talk. I could tell all the other recruits were blown away just by the look in their eyes. Right before the kickoff everything was crazy and the stadium was vibrating it was louder than a bomb."
McDowell paid close attention to the Gator running backs.
"Jeffrey Demps played great and Percy played good to but I don't know what I will end up playing in college but I know I want to play running back. The offense was clicking they had some mistakes in the first half but the fixed them when they came out after the break."
The Gator defense was impressive all night by all accounts including what McDowell saw.
"Oh man the defense played so good I was amazed at how they attack the ball and if they keep playing like that they will be playing for a national title this year."
