"The visit went very well," said his father, Ernie Sims. "Florida did a great job and they have an outstanding program. We just realized what a great vet school they have. Ernie got along with everyone there and Florida will let him play either (running back or linebacker) position. We like Florida and they have as good as shot as anyone."
Gavin Dickey, former quarterback from Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln, was Ernie's host. Sims will visit Florida State (1-10), Auburn (1-17) and Miami (1-31) in January. Sims has already taken an official visit to Georgia. He plans on making a decision on Signing Day.
