[MEDIA:32875]Florida needed some Junior College help and boy have they received it this week. The latest commitment is from <B>Eric Holcombe</B>, one of the top JUCO D-tackles in the nation. He is the fifth JUCO commitment for Florida and the 4th in the last 24 hours.

Eric Holcombe has finally made a decision. The standout Junior College defensive tackle says he will sign with the Florida Gators on Wednesday.

"I am going to Florida," said Holcombe. "I still have not told the Gator coaches. I will when they call. I has been a hard decision. But there is just too much opportunity for me at Florida. I can play early and I have a chance to start. Florida has a tradition of winning and I want a ring. It was hard to say no to Auburn because I have always liked them. But after sitting down and thinking about it, Florida is the best shot for me."

Over the weekend, Holcombe took official visits to both Auburn and LSU. he visited Florida last weekend. Holcombe will sign with Florida on Wednesday and report to Bowl Practice December 26. Holcombe, from Booneville, Mississippi, is 6-3 and 281 pounds. He went to Mobile (Ala.) Davidson High School before attending NE Mississippi Junior College.
