Morant Talks About His Visit

[MEDIA:32874]Tranell Morant is one of the top defensive line prospects from the Sunshine State and this weekend he took an official visit to Florida. That was his fourth trip with Miami on the horizon for this coming weekend. Morant talks about his visit to UF and right now he has no timetable for a decision.

Tranell Morant is an amazing story. The senior defensive line prospect from Miami (Fla.) Braddock High School didn't start playing football until mid-way through his junior season. Now, he has many scholarship opportunities from such schools as Miami, Florida, Georgia, NC State, and Auburn to just name a few. On the season, Morant had 72 tackles and 20 sacks. Not bad for his fist full season. Morant, 6-6 and 260 pounds, has already taken official visits to Georgia, Auburn, Rutgers and now Florida. He was in Gainesville last weekend.

""It was a pretty good visit," said Morant. "Gainesville is a great college town. What I liked best was the people... they are all so nice. I mean the people in the community. They love their Gator football. I also like the coaching staff and their players are cool. Right now, I am still open. I may have to wait until Signing Day because I have no clue where I want to go. All my visits have been great."

Morant has one visit left and that is to Miami (12-20). At Florida, Taurean Charles was his host.
