Desmond Parks - Offense/Defense Update

Desmond Parks, a 6-6, 220-pound tight end, just walked off the practice field to conclude practice for the day in Myrtle Beach. Parks, from Greer (SC) High School committed to Florida in late July.

"Oh man it was cool," Desmond Parks said. "I had a couple nice catches today. I think they threw it my way 10 times and I caught eight balls, one went out-of-bounds and one was real short in the dirt."

"I feel real good about the way thing went today. We weren't trying to score but instead working on putting in new plays and our team is stacked. I have been working with two quarterbacks; one of them is committed to West Virginia (Eugene Smith) and the other to Georgia (Zach Mettenberger). They have moved some players to the other side but I don't think it will matter."

"We have a nasty defensive line and those guys and our offensive line were going at it today. I had a chance to talk to Jonotthan Harrison and he has me cracking up all day. He is going to enroll early at Florida and so am I."

"Next Monday I am all set to get down to Gainesville move in and get started with things. As far as the rest of the day we are heading out to check out a basketball game later tonight so that should be pretty fun."
