Four-Star Brandon Moore Making UF Visit

Brandon Moore is a four-star prospect from Montgomery (AL) Carver Senior High School and the lone official visitor to the University of Florida this weekend.

Brandon Moore, at 6-5, 320-pounds, could play a number of different roles depending on where he goes to college and has narrowed his choices to two powerhouses in the Southeastern Conference, Florida and Alabama.

"Well I am really looking forward to going to Florida this weekend to meet the coaches and players and stuff like that," Moore said. "I think their defense is good for me because in a 4-3 I can show my quickness and strength. In the 3-4 with Alabama I can show my speed at the end position."

Moore talked about his game for anyone that hasn't had a chance to watch him play in person.

"I can play both sides of the ball but I am being recruited to play on the defensive side of the ball, which is where I want to play in college," he said. "I did make all-state and was the lineman of the year on the offensive line."

At times, it's been difficult to land the top tier players from the state of Alabama, but that trend is one that has slowly gone away with the additions of William Green and Dee Finley over the last two years.

"Even though I really don't know Dee or William I have seen them play before and I would love to play with them."

Moore will be making the trip to Gainesville with both of his parents.
