Parker Could be Out at FSU

Florida State junior receiver Preston Parker's days may be numbered with the Seminoles football program. The talented speedster was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with DUI.

Parker was found passed out in his car with the engine running and his foot on the break. He was in the drive-thru lane of a Tallahassee McDonalds at the time. Parker reportedly told police he had been drinking and smoking marijuana. His blood alcohol registered .054 which is below Florida's legal limit of .080. Police say a urine sample produced a "presumptive positive" for marijuana.

The arrest is Parker's third in three years at FSU. He was arrested in the fall of 2006 and charged with theft. That charge was dropped after he completed a pre-trial diversion program. He was arrested again last May for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.

Parker has caught 104 passes for 1,189 yards and five touchdowns in his Seminole career. He was expected to be FSU's top receiver next fall.
