Stephenson Safety adds Offers

The 6-2, 195-pound linebacker/safety prospect Tyrone Cornelius recently received two more offers earlier this week both coming from the SEC. Auburn and South Carolina both offered Cornelius.

Mr. Cornelius spoke with South Carolina's defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward this morning, and they want to play his son Tyrone at safety to maximize his 4.41-speed. They will attend junior day in Columbia, S.C. February 21.

"I have not spoken with anyone from Auburn yet, but hope to sometime today," Mr. Cornelius said. "Last week we attended Florida's Junior Day and it was awesome. So far with the offers that he has received, they are both within his top five schools."

"Recently, Tyrone has participated in the All-Armerican Combine in Orlando. There he was rated by Rival's as the top linebacker at the combine. Tyrone also participated in the Scout Combine in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. There he ran a 4.41, broad jump a 10-5, 4.2 short-shuttle, and a 12.5 in the long shuttle. Currently, Tyrone is weighting 195 pounds. His goal is to be at 205 by the beginning of his senior year."

FightinGators.com will continue to follow the recruitment of Tyrone Cornelius.
