Number 75 for Tampa Catholic won't be hard to spot on Friday nights. Chaz Green is 6-6 and 290-pounds heading into his senior season and still growing. He has good strength with a bench of 320, squat of 550 and dead lift of 605-pounds. It has yet to be decided on which position he will play at the next level, most teams are looking for him to play the all important offensive tackle position. But if it were up to him, he would give defensive tackle a try.
While it is very early in this process, Green talked about some of the teams that he is considering.
"Five schools that I am really interested in are Florida, Southern Cal, Tennessee, Alabama and Ohio State. But right now I'm keeping my options open.
"Schools I've visited are Florida, Tennessee, USF, and Miami. I plan on visiting plenty more schools throughout this process."
Green talked a little about the Gators.
"I feel that I would fit in well and that I would definitely have to work to get playing time but that's what it's all about. I don't expect it to come easily. I feel that they run a similar type of offense that we run at Tampa Catholic, and that I would easily fit right in."
Green admits he didn't have a favorite team growing up but does favor a lot of the teams in the Southeastern Conference. His two favorite players growing up were Donovan McNabb and Randy Moss.
