The Leon Orr File

Leon Orr sprung up on the scene last year when he attended Friday Night Lights on the campus of the University of Florida. Orr, from New Port Richey (FL) Gulf High School has the potential to be one of the top linemen in the state.

At 6-5 and 305-pounds, Leon Orr has loads of potential at the next level if he continues to develop. Currently sitting with three offers from Florida, Florida International and Florida Atlantic with certainly more on the way. In fact, Alabama and Florida are currently showing him the most attention. Florida is the only team that he has visited but would like to hear from USC.

Orr talked about the Gators and his strengths as a player.

"Speed, balance and a lot of natural strength is what I have that is good," he said.

There's lots to like for Orr at Florida.

"The academics are great and I think they have a 100 percent graduation rate which is very important to my family."

Orr hasn't been a household name over the last several months but it is a name that Gator fans should become familiar with.
