A Few to Watch

Things are happening at a very fast pace right now with the staff looking high and low for the very best talent in the class of 2010. These are just a few that you might want to keep an eye on moving forward.

Germantown (MD) Northwest 5-9 and 170-pound burner Hassan Dixon plays both cornerback and running back for head coach Randy Trivers and had this to say about the defending national champs.

"I love Florida," Dixon said. "From what I have heard and seen on national TV, it is a very nice school and academic wise as well as the athletics."

Tulsa (OK) Central 6-2 and 200-pound athlete DeMarco Cobbs is another looking at Florida.

"I feel real good about Florida right now," he said.

Memphis (TN) Ridgeway 6-4 and 200-pound wide receiver/tight end Justin Maclin does a number of things for head coach Rod Brown.

"I am very interested in Florida," Maclin said.

Miami (FL) Palmetto 6-6 and 230-pound Delvin Jones turned heads recently and plays for head coach Larry Coffey.

"I like the Canes, but I also like Florida," Jones said.

Plainfield (IN) 6-5 and 275-pound offensive linemen James Hurst is another that you need to know.

"I have a high interest in the Gators," Hurst said. "I am actually going to be visiting there the last week of March sometime."
