UF's Weekend Visitor's List

It's less than a month since National Signing Day, but the Florida Gators are hard at work getting a head start on next year's class. The Gators already have five commitments and are getting ready to host some of the state's top talent this weekend.

This weekend's prospects look like this:

Trey Burton -- "Going to be a lot of fun. There will be a lot of big time recruits and I'll try to enjoy myself and get the best kids in the nation to come play for Florida."

Jonathan Dowling -- "Meeting with Coach Heater could end the recruiting process."

Terrence Mitchell -- "I feel great about this weekend and all of it. It's great that the National Champs offered me and I like Coach Mac."

Leon Orr -- "I'm real excited about going back to Florida this weekend and getting a chance to chill with the other recruits."

Mike McFarland -- "I am excited about this weekend."

Chaz Green -- "I am definitely excited about this weekend and I will let you know how it goes."

Christian Jones -- "It's going to be a great experience seeing the coaches and seeing guys like Nick [Calathes] and Chandler [Parsons] play in person."

Bryant Butler -- "I am jacked up about this weekend."

Brent Benedict -- "I am very excited about this weekend."

Louis Nix -- "I am stoked about seeing them Gators this weekend."

Kevin Nelson -- "I feel like I own the world and can't wait. I got all B's on my report card and that's even better. I'm just gonna keep working hard."

Christian Green -- "I'm coming up to Gainesville Sunday. I just want to see the other top prospects and get to know them."

Terrence Brooks -- "I am ready to see what the coaches have to say and talk about what they have to offer. I want to talk to all the coaches and see how they treat me and want to check out the basketball game and see what that fan base is like."

Two that won't make the trip...

Mack Brown -- Will not be in this weekend. They are focused on his grades and school work. Mack Brown, Sr. said: "Coach Carter/Coach Meyer are top of the line coaches and people and that's a great school."

Brandon Linder -- "I wont be able to make it this weekend, but things are going great."
