Jorgenson to Visit Florida During Spring Camp

At 6-7, 250-pounds, offensive lineman Paul Jorgensen from DeWitt (MI) is gaining attention.

Paul Jorgensen does a little bit of everything for head coach Rob Zimmerman on Friday night's whether he lines up at offensive tackle or defensive end. He excelled on both sides of the ball, earning first team all-state recognition in 2008. He was also voted the team's most valuable player.

"I have two offers right now from Cincinnati and Central Michigan," Jorgensen said. "Other teams that are showing me a lot of attention are Wisconsin, Purdue and Michigan State."

My Take:
The Gators got an early verbal from offensive lineman Ian Silberman at last year's Friday Night Lights and look to build on that with two more offensive linemen. There are more than a few that hold Florida, including Chaz Green and James Hurst. Jorgensen is a very good looking prospect with loads of potential. Both his siblings attend Michigan State and are in the class of 2009, so he has some ties to that program but is very excited about coming down to check out Florida in person during spring practice.
