Cohen Talks Recruiting

Joe Cohen is one of the nation's best big men. The senior from Melbourne (Fla.) Palm Bay wants to play running back at the next level and in this interview he talks about his four favorite teams.

One of the most asked questions on the message board is what will Joe Cohen do on Signing Day? The big man from Melbourne (Fla.) Palm Bay High School shows no signs or gives no hints for his future football destination. Tonight was no different.

"I am wide open," said Cohen. "I plan on announcing on Signing Day. I have already visited LSU (back in October). That was a good visit but I really have nothing to compare it to. But I liked the environment, school, football program, and facilities. I will visit Florida State this weekend, Florida (1-17) and Miami (1-24). Right now, I may visit Tennessee on the 31st. I am still not sure."

Cohen, 6-2.5 and 240 pounds, run in the 4.5range and is one of the most talented big athletes in the country. Some schools like him as a running back while others believe his future lies at defensive end. For Cohen, the answer is simple. He wants to play running back.

"That's what I prefer. I look at Florida State and think how I could be the next great, big back. I don't want to be Greg Jones but Joe Cohen, running back.

"At Florida, I really like all the coaches, especially coach Zook. I love his personality.

"Miami simply has the most talent, Them and Ohio State are the best. It's going to be a hard decision."
