Burrows a Wanted Man

One of the fastest rising prospects in the class of 2010 over the last few months has been Marietta (GA) George Walton High School defensive end Brandon Burrows. At 6-3 and 235-pounds with 4.6 speed it's no wonder schools from all across the country are vying for his services.

"I have 13offers right now," Brandon Burrows said. "Maryland, N.C. State, Tulane, East Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Purdue, Clemson and Oklahoma State all have offered at this time. So far I have been to N.C. State, Duke, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Florida and Georgia."

Burrows has seen enough of some of his schools to know a few return trips are in order.

"I plan on getting back to Alabama, Florida, N.C. State and Georgia," he said. "I also plan on visiting Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. In no particular order teams recruiting me the most would be Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and N.C. State."

"I talk to Coach Kenny Carter the most and we talk at least once a week."

Oklahoma, South Carolina, Boston College, Oklahoma State, Clemson and North Carolina State have all been by Walton High School this week.

My Take:
At the end of the day this will be a rematch of last year's SEC Championship game between Florida and Alabama. If I were to include a third team at this point it would be Georgia but I believe they are well behind both Florida and Alabama.
