"I don't know when I am going to make my decision, but probably in the spring or summer," Kacy Rodgers said. "With me, you never know because I could decide all of a sudden next week and be done with this entire process."
Rodgers talked about his connection to one of his favorites, the Florida Gators.
"My dad has known Coach Bedford and some of the other coaches for some time and my mom knows Coach Bedford through his wife," Rodgers said. "I absolutely loved the campus. It's one of the prettiest ones I have seen so far, the whole atmosphere was great. Also, The Swamp was amazing. It was tight walking out where the players run before the games and yes Florida felt like it could possibly be a home for me. The best part was meeting Tim Tebow because he is a terrific player that has put God first which is really cool to see these days."
Rodgers also had a chance to check out Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
"Both also have very nice campuses. Oklahoma State has some of the nicest equipment and facilities I have ever seen."
Rodgers has more than 20 offers at this time.
"My offers right now are UCLA, Nebraska, Richmond, Duke, Colorado, Houston, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Miami, Southern Miss, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Minnesota and a few others. I plan to visit Miami, Ohio State, Georgia and Tennessee hopefully."
Rodgers even with the offers that he has is one of the most underrated players in the country. As with all players out of state it was very important to get him on campus for a visit. He came with his mother and as you can see he was very impressed with what Florida has to offer. The Gators are squarely in the mix for the 6-2 185-pound corner with 4.45 speed.
