Christopher Coleman (Senior, walk-on) has a pretty good physique at 6-3 and 245 pounds. He uses his size to over-power defenders. Coleman catches the ball nice, but he also lack in sheer foot speed and quickness for this Gator offense. I don't see him contributing much in the fall, but maybe at the line of scrimmage in certain short yardage situations.
Desmond Parks (True Freshman) had a very nice spring going until hurting his knee about midway through. Parks needs to gain weight but he showed pretty good toughness catching the ball in traffic and making tough catches look routine. he never shied away from contact and was actually quite aggressive on the field getting into a couple of scuffles during drills. He has good speed which you can see in his highlights here.
Aaron Hernandez (Junior) should be a star in 2009. Already known as a reliable receiver prone to the spectacular catch and run, Hernandez will be counted on a lot in 2009 to make plays and move the offense. He is a nightmare matchup wise for linebackers that he can out run and defensive backs that he can out muscle. Hernandez had a spectacular spring and was lauded by the coaching staff numerous times for his production during drills.
