Lemonier Leading Hialeah this Spring

Four-star Corey Lemonier is the No. 6 ranked defensive end in the country. At 6-4 and 230-pounds, moving the way he does, it's no wonder some of the top teams in the nation have extended offers including the defending National Champs. Coming off a 40 tackle, 10 sack junior season, Lemonier from Hialeah (FL) High School looks to improve his senior season.

"So far this spring I have lined up all over the field including defensive end, defensive tackle, linebacker, offensive tackle and offensive guard," Corey Lemonier said. "We look really good so far. We just need to get Calvin (Smith) to come back from a minor injury and we will be looking really good. We had two of our starting defensive tackles out for this week, so next week we look to be really strong up front. We lost our senior linebacker Juan Correa to a knee injury that will take him out for 4-6 weeks but we got young kids stepping up."

Florida, Florida State, Purdue, FAU, Tennessee and Virginia to name a few have been to watch practice with many more on the way.

Lemonier doesn't have any summer camp plans at this time but has been pushing his teammates on and off the field.

"I have been telling all of my teammates to work harder and make more plays and in the weight room I push then even harder. Our two biggest games will be against Miami Northwestern and Miami Central. They are both good but we will have a chance to win both of those games."
