"Spring has been coming along great right now," Ivan McCartney said. "I have been lining up all over the field. Wide receiver, corner, free safety, strong safety and even punter. On the offensive side of the ball we look great nothing to complain about so far and it's the same thing with the defense."
Miramar is a hot spot destination for college coaches as Florida, Florida State, Texas Tech, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Purdue, Alabama, Miami, FIU, Wisconsin, Oregon and West Virginia have all stopped in.
"I am striving for a 3.0 GPA," McCartney said. "I arrive to practice early and I am working off the field very hard to set an example. I give 110 percent until there is none left and I make sure that everyone else is on the same page as I am."
Right now there is no less than 18 wide receivers in my opinion that have a "chance" at being in the 2010 recruiting class for the Florida Gators. Some I feel stronger about than others obviously but McCartney is one to keep a very close eye on as things progress.
