Scroggins has offers from Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, Arizona, Arizona State, California, LSU, Nebraska, Oregon State, San Diego State, SMU, Washington and Washington State. He ended his junior season with 2,500 yards passing to go with 24 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions.
While it is not certain when the visit to Florida will happen Scroggins and his family plan to have that cleared up by late Friday night.
"I believe sometime early in the summer I will take a trip to Florida with my dad, Dion Bailey and his dad. Dion is a great competitor and I think it's only a matter of time before the Gators will offer him. He plays all over the field for us at times strong safety, free safety and slot receiver. My dad is supposed to call coach Meyer Friday night to work out all the details."
For those that have not seen Scroggins play he is not to be confused with a running style quarterback.
"My basic game has always been to pass first and run second. I like to stay in the pocket as much as I can but if forced to run I will take what the defense gives me. I definitely look to my wide receivers and playmakers that's what those guys do."
