Michael Bennett almost Perfect at UF Camp

Alpharetta (GA) wide receiver Michael Bennett had a great camp with the Gators on Monday. At 6-3 and 200-pounds, Bennett spent the morning in The Swamp showing the Florida staff what he can do.

"It was great working out for the coaches today," Michael Bennett said. "Brandon and I came in yesterday and spent some time talking with wide receiver coach Billy Gonzales. I did real good today in the one on one drills. I had 10 opportunities and caught nine balls I think it was. Running around in The Swamp was surreal for me today. Coach Gonzales wants me to call him when I get home he told me yesterday that he was going to watch my closely today and evaluate me so I will call him on Tuesday and see what he thinks."

The Swamp wasn't the only thing that was impressive for Bennett.

"The facilities were first class all the way I mean they were state of the art. I could really see myself working out there and getting bigger and stronger for the next four years. The campus tour was great, it's just an overall great place to be."

Next up for Bennett:
Saturday in Athens. Maybe Vanderbilt on June 20 and then Michigan State at some point.
