Brandon Terry Impressed with Gators

Brandon Terry took part in the morning session today at the University of Florida's camp with teammate and wide receiver counterpart Michael Bennett. Terry from Alpharetta (GA) is one of the tallest wideout prospects in the nation at 6-6.5 and 200-pounds.

"Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, Tulane, Connecticut, Chattanooga, Central Michigan, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Air Force have offered and Harvard is very close," Brandon Terry said.

Terry talked about his first experience in The Swamp.

"I tell you walking into the stadium this morning was amazing for me," he said. "I was thinking about 95,000 people in the stands watching me play and do my thing. I could see myself playing for the Gators no question about it. I did really good today and all the coaches were very helpful with me today. I was going 110 percent all day trying to go through everything as fast as I could."

Terry spent a majority of the later afternoon going through one-on-one drills in The Swamp.

"I did great when we went up against the corners. I was real amped up to get out there and compete and that helped me play at a high level of play. I had a chance to talk to the wide receiver coach Billy Gonzales and we had a real good talk on Sunday. He talked about how Florida was the place to play and what a real close group he has at the wide receiver position and how those guys are a family and all hang together."

Next up for Terry is Georgia on Saturday. The following week he will most likely visit North Carolina on Tuesday or Wednesday and then possibly Vanderbilt in July.
