Jordon James sets Official Visit with Gators

Jordon James from Corona (CA) Senior High School has just informed that he will take an official visit to Florida on September 19 when the Gators host Tennessee.

"I just got confirmation from Coach Brian White last night about the visit and I just got off the phone with Urban Meyer to talk to him about it," Jordon James said. "Coach was telling me how big of a game that is going to be and said that he can't wait to meet me in person."

James is the No. 8 ranked running back in America and weighs in at 5-9 and 190-pounds. As a junior, James ran for 1,135 yards in five games before suffering a season-ending injury. He was named First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-County. James also plays baseball and runs track (10.6 100m, 22.0 200m, 22' LJ), but only plans on playing football in college. He said he can bench 335-pounds, squat 450 and claims a 39-inch vertical jump.

As a sophomore, James was First Team All-League and Sophomore All-State when he had 217 carries for 1,405 yards and 12 touchdowns.
