Hassan Dixon Takes in Gator Camp

The class of 2010 is loaded with tons of gifted skill players that all have one thing in common, speed. Hassan Dixon may have more speed than anyone. From Germantown (MD) Northwest High School, Dixon is gaining interest from Pittsburg, Stanford, Maryland, West Virginia and Duke. Currently at 5-9 and 170-pounds, Dixon plays a little corner and running back and has been timed as low as 4.3.

"I came down last night about 10:00 p.m. because I drove down with my dad from Jacksonville," Hassan Dixon said. "Camp was real good today. I learned a number of new things, route running and ball security. Coming back was great for me because I know all the coaches and how they operate so it was cool seeing how the system works and stuff like that."

Dixon talked about the day's events.

"Today, we came out real early and did some stretching and all the recruits were together working in one on one situations. I think I did okay. I just needed to work on my route running but after a while I picked it up and caught a bunch of balls. I knew Josh Furman because he is from Maryland but I got to meet a bunch of other running backs so it was fun.

"Slot and running back is the position that they are looking at me for and mostly my footwork and cutting is my strength so I feel real comfortable at those positions. "

Dixon is more quick than fast but he is lightning quick.
